Approach

There have been a number of landmark neurological developments in the last decade, and one of the most significant has been the brain-mind-body connection. Traditional talk therapy, particularly with a skilled counsellor, can be effective. But it can be much more so if we also add mind-body dialogue.

Pioneering tools such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Energy Therapies, such as Healing Touch, can serve to accelerate the process – sometimes remarkably.

What I do: Getting your from what you don’t want to what you do want

I use the best of talk therapies (Cognitive Behavioural, Solution Focused) with the latest neuroscience research on the mind-body connection to get you from what you don’t want, to what you do want.

I ask questions that help bring awareness and understanding to underlying feelings, patterns and thoughts.

I talk with you and offer feedback.

I help you learn to speak the language of your nervous system, so you can be the change you want to be.

Stress narrows choices and limits our opportunities. My approach, using talk therapy and mind-body approaches, helps open up options and opportunities.
