I call myself a practical therapist – dedicated to helping my clients live life in a way that fully honours their integrity, individuality, desires, and dreams.
Each of us is unique. I am able to adapt to individual needs, work cooperatively to develop an effective plan, and with my knowledge and caring identify the skills required for each client’s situation. People who work with me value my caring, effectiveness, and ability to be fully present. I have a huge appreciation for human nature and the human spirit.
I attribute my practical, resourceful, inclusive nature to growing up in a rural area as a first generation Canadian. Growing up with nature, and travelling at a young age, I learned to appreciate the value in understanding differences and seeing strength in our interconnectedness.
I have been married for 28 rewarding, and occasionally challenging, years and we have two adult sons who have taught me patience and humour.
